Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Research and Students Affairs.

While we are based on Islamic values, we uphold high standards of morality, non-discrimination and working towards meeting and exceeding stakeholders needs and expectations.

The office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor incharge of academics oversees all the functions and operation of the Academic Division as well as Research and Student Welfare. The Registrar Academic and Registrar Research and Innovation as well as the Dean of students together with the other staff under them work with the DVC Academic. Other departments supervised by this office include: The Library, Examination Department and the Admission and Records office.

There are several programmes that are ongoing at different levels from certificate to diploma and degree, including Computer Sciences, Business Management, Education, Nursing, Islamic studies and Islamic Sharia. Ongoing Post graduate programmes are: Masters in Islamic studies and Masters in Business Management.

The office of Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics oversees the operation of this division and especially with regard to Quality Assurance and is involved in planning for new programmes.
The DVC Academic also closely links with other Universities in the Country for the purpose of benchmarking and sharing experiences.
