Umma University signs agreement with Africa Education and Development Trust
Direct Aid International and Africa Education and Development Trust signed an agreement on 15th January 2018 for Umma University Students support program which will grant students studying or wish to study at Umma University interest free study loan.

Umma University signs MOU with Omdurman Islamic University
On the 14th December 2017, Umma University Ag. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mohamed Karama signed an MOU with the Vice-Chancellor of Omdurman Islamic University Prof. Hassan Abbas Hassan in support of staff and student exchange, research cooperation, joint scientific meetings, exchange of academic information, and sharing of information on programmes, plans and activities.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc.N) is an integrated programme aimed at preparing a graduate with the capacity of producing leadership in professional nursing practice, nursing education, nursing administration and nursing research. The graduate will utilize his/her skills based on knowledge derived from theory, practice and evidence-based research in relation to emerging health needs of a changing society.
The programme is approved by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK). Graduates from this programme will be capable of functioning effectively in a variety of healthcare settings including promotive, preventive, and curative and rehabilitative.
In addition, the graduates can function as teachers in educational institutions. All nursing courses include intensive training in theory and clinical practices. The students are placed in various hospitals and healthcare institutions approved by NCK for clinical experience. Following graduation, the student will be registered with the NCK after fulfilling its requirements.
